so upset :(

im due to have my op next tuesday 17th and i woke up yesterday with a water infection im waiting for mya to call me back to see if my op has to be postponed so upset

Don’t worry chic, I had a bad case of tonsillitis and only finished antibiotics 2 days before my op! I also had chesty cough and it still went ahead as all my obs were fine xxx

just dont want to to be postponed iv booked time off work andf so had bf and family xx

Lots of cranberry juice and hugs will make it go, I suffer horribly with them so feel your pain. I wouldn’t imagine a water infection stopping your op, they are fair easy to rid (well mine are, and stubborn ones get a course of antibiotics) xx

Oasis sachets from asda are good if you are allowed to take them so close to date? X

really sabby?? oo that makes me feel abit better , iv got a 3 day course 4 tablets a day hoping that will get rid of it , also worried that if it doesnt get postponed if they do a urine sample on the day and i still have it ill have to go home without boobs:( who was your surgeon?? my nurse said mr traynor will decide.

joannabella- i knoww im litrally drink 50000 litres of water and juice! so do i i only had one 3 weeks ago!!! my nurse told me they dont normal do ops if youve had anti biotics less than 2 weeks before you op so got to wait to see what mr traynor says .

lindsey85- been told to take antibiotics from the docs , them sachets seem to not work anymore with me xx

I had mr traynor who said alsong as I had no temp on the day and tablets were finished it was fine! I had to take 8 antibiotics a day for a week I told my doc I was having surgery so he said right let’s make sure we get it flushed out and by day 3 I felt better . Really don’t worry chic, I’m sure it will all go ahead . Ps no urine sample was taken on the day from me they didn’t even mention the tonsillitis or my chest. Xxx

just take tablets! most tablets usually work within a few days… i get water infections ALL the time and actually had one whilst i had my BA..it made it a little worse as i wasnt drinking loads of water due to sickness from anasthetic but apart from that was fine xx

oo brill fingers crossed then , i feel fine now tbh just hoping it will be gone out off my system incase they do a sample xx

tonesx- did they not do a urine sample on the day and realise you had one?xx

water infection only takes a couple of days to clear up anyway, they dont even give u a week long worth of antibiotics xx

staceyanne – i get them badly really often and they always give me 7 day courses xx
