So upset and disappointed

My pc has been not been as good as I think she should have but to be honest I’m no diva and don’t need alot of attention. I asked her a few days ago to confirm the size of my implant and she came back with a guess which was incorrect and then said she would find out for sure and get right back to me. Asked to see my surgeon again to go through sizes again an only then did she check and say I would need to pay extra. I’m no idiot so when I booked I told her it wasn’t standard implants and she sai she would check and get back to me with the remaining balance so I could arrange my loan. Next day I get a reciept telling me balance remaining is x so I arrange my loan. I have just been for my pre op and she had put me down for standard implants in a size bigger than I was supposed to have and the surgeon told me i couldn’t have!

She has just text me saying she can order 380 or 410 at no extra cost but I am gutted as it wasn’t what was discussed and it is completely het fault for not checking my notes and telling me the correct amount. I don’t know what to do my op is on Wednesday and I feel like cancelling but I know I’ll lose money

They need to get you the implants you agreed with the surgeon. The surgeon will have written them in your notes at your consultation so there is no excuse. They have a week to get the correct ones in. Hope it all works out x

Thanks belle, the problem is they now want me to pay the extra, had I known when I applie for the loan with the figures she gave me it wouldn’t have been a problem. Sorry for the essay prob makes hardly and sense lol

Do you have the price in writing? With the surgeons notes stating what implant your having and the price in writing, surely they can’t make you pay, it’s their mistake. x

Yes I have the receipt and he has written it on the initial consultation sheet which was in my file just now. Guess I will see what she says tomorrow. X

Perhaps you cd state your concerns and then imply that you re thinking of going elsewhere and then negotiate a small discount for the mistake she made? So no one loses? Xxx

I think I would lose all my money at this stage as it’s so close so they wouldn’t care x

My boyf told me to change her weeks ago but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but the fact that she had put me in for the wrong implants just made me break down in the clinic I felt like such an idiot. If I hadn’t have asked her if I needed a pre op I wouldnt have even had it today and they never would have double checked everything if it wasn’t for the fact my surgery date wasn’t on my notes today. I would have turned up on Weds all prepared with childcare time off work etc and the wrong implants would have been there or even worse they would have been put in x

You shouldn’t have to go through this you are paying them at the end of the day and it’s not cheap…my pc is lovely I live in Liverpool but she is from manchester clnic but visits the liverpool clinic weekly, she is so helpful and gives me so much support, hope you get it all sorted in the end xx

Someone from head office called saying I owe £150 and I told her what is going on and she has asked me to forward the emails to her so she can try to help me. Hope something gets sorted soon just got home and cried my eyes out last night, feel like a right twit lol

I had a call from the clinic manager today who was really nice and sorted out my problem for me. I’m starting to feel more relaxed, just hope nothing else goes wrong. Thanks for the support girls xxx
