Hello there, I am currently carrying out some research as part of a university assignment and hoping some people out there who use social networking sites will be able to help me.

I have detailed a list of 10 questions below, could you please answer them and if you require any further information just let me know.

Hi Hunn, believe it or not ive never registered with a social networking site so unlike a lot of people my age, I’m 25, I spend no time on them. The reason behind this is that I’m a very private person and all my family and friends live close by so we keep in touch via text/calls and email. Plus I don’t like the idea of everyone knowing my business and I’ve heard they can get quite addictive x

to promote businesses, social everyday us etc? keep in touch with old skool friends and be nosey, love a bit of gossip lol.

5. How often do you go on these sites? i log on everyday

6. If everyday, is it once a day or more. If more can you please specify

approximately how many times? just log on meby twice a day only for about 10 mins

7. How long do you spend on the sites? as above

8. When are you most likely to visit the sites i.e morning, afternoons,

evening or all? morning and night

9. What is your opinion of the site you use? its great if you want the world to know your buisness

approximately how many times? have notifications to my phone so as soon as i get one..im on it. sad i know

9. What is your opinion of the site you use? love it, comes in so handy to keep in touch with friends abroad

10. Please leave any general comments you have. its a great way for keeping in contact with people, wish i werent so addicted though, dnt no why i feel i have to be on it constantly! i dont like missing out on things

i love facebook and if it wasnt for my current boyfriend who, i was in school with but different year in school adding me on there after we seen each other on a night out, we wouldnt be together, we got to know each other by chatting everyday on there and finally arranged a date, its been over 2 years now and hes the best thing to come out of me sighing up on facebook xx

Hi there I am 30 years old and used Facebook for a couple of years bit I’ve recently de activated my profile cos ppl get too nosey and I’d rather become I more private person, plus loadsa ppl just want constant attention and live in this fake cyber world with lots of fake friends. It should be called fake book ha ha. So I’m off it and not missing it at all apart from my photo albums which I’m going to move onto shutterfly xx

approximately how many times? once on my lunch break at work, then once during the evening.

7. How long do you spend on the sites? under an hour each time

8. When are you most likely to visit the sites i.e morning, afternoons,

evening or all? evenings

9. What is your opinion of the site you use? its not really fun to use its more of a way to keep in contact with all my friends and family without running a huge phone bill

10. Please leave any general comments you have. I am spending a lot more time on facebook since after my operation because i cant go anywhere, and now i am on this alot too!

approximately how many times? Facebook could be 20-30 times a day if I get a msg or notification, twitter once maybe twice somedays

7. How long do you spend on the sites? Facebook in total about 2-3 hrs twitter about 45-60 mins

evening or all? Facebook throughout the day twitter at night

9. What is your opinion of the site you use? To be honest I think Facebook is abit boring and but its good for a nosey, sharing your pics with everyone and keeping intouch with people you wouldn’t have done without it, twitter is defo just for gossip and a nosey at the celebs

10. Please leave any general comments you have I really dont like the idea of facebook, i think its very addictive and allows people to nose in to each others lives and i am quite a private person. But when i launched my business they have been a great tool for me and i think they are excellent from this perspective!

Anyone else got 5 minutes to spare, need to tie up my report tongiht so it would be really appreciated if anyones else could help within the next 30 mins.
