Hey kimmystella! I had my op last Friday and have had exactly the same with the feeling under the skin! I was so worried when I first felt it, got my mum to have a feel and she couldn’t even feel anything but said its probably due to the aneasthetic! I really wouldn’t worry about it as mine has started to go, hasnt caused me any problems! :) hope you are feeling better hun and you are getting some sleep! Just thought id let you know you’re not the only one with that weird feeling! :) happy healing hun! Take it easy xx

Hi kimmy, the crunchy sensation is normal…its air in the tissues from the op..it’ll go in a few days! And have you took your painkillers 4 hourly? If it doesn’t settle a bit give the clinic a ring, you maybe need to take an anti inflammatory as well? Take care, it should feel a lot better tomorrow xx

hun dont worry….the nurse told me that some girls get strange sounds coming from there boobs in the early days after op…I wouldnt worry about it too much…but if you are call the nurse.

Have a read at my story if you like…you will see i was in really bad pain and the swelling was intense. I was depressed and freaking out. couldnt sleep, move,or even cry lol everything hurt…

I was so sore that I started to regret it…but day 10 I was feeling so much better….2 weeks even more better..now im day 22 post op and feeling mostly painfree besides some sensitivity on incisions.

Your not alone…some of us have a more painful recovery, but you will recover and love your boobies…hang in there.

    sending you support xxx

awh hun i know exactly what you mean with the pain :-( i had my ba on tues any yesterday i was in absolute agony and felt soooooo ill i was actually sick but the nurse said this was down to the general aneasthetic! i had to sleep on the sofa last night as i was in so much pain i couldnt bring myself to go up to bed but my god did i suffer this morn!!! the pain when i first sat forward was excruciating :-( hot, burning pains running from the bottom of my boobs to my nipple iv never felt pain like it. keeping topped up on co-codamol now and hoping to god its gona start getting easier. The bubbling thing you mentioned iv also had, only on my left boob though, when i run my finger around the outside edge it kinda makes a gurgling sound but id already read about it on here so it didnt worry me! Anyway hun chin up :-) hope your feeling better soon just keep thinking of your amazing new boobies thats what im doing, it will be soooooo worth it in the end!!!!! :-) xxx

omg whenever i moved my arms my boobs farted lol for like the first 2 weeks! dont worry its normal & soon goes, oh its hard especially at night when u feel alone! i was on the sofa like alli for about 2 weeks! when its really bad a hot or cold compress really helped me, alternate them, cold for 5mins, hot for 5mins (if u can! i got two reusable hot & cold compresses, 1 u heat in microwave n 1 u keep in freezer) u could use a hot water bottle and peas tho! hang in there it can only get better! xx
