someone please reassure me?

all these negative posts lately about mya n I’m ment to be having my op in 5 days, anyone had good experiences with the please? reAlly wurrying now xx

I no wot u mean! I’m sitting in the hosp just now waiting to be taken into surgery n all there negative posts have me worried sick!! Xxx

Hey hun, it is nerve wracking reading all these things but for all the people who arent 100% happy (me included) there are plenty of people who are. My friend had her BA done with MYA and she has a flippin awesome pair now so try not to worry too much. There are unfortunately always gonna be cases where people dont get the look they want or complications occur but i think they are in the vast minority. You’ll be reet, enjoy your day xx

I haven’t had my op yet but just remember the majority of girls on here are thrilled with their new boobs! I know it’s awful if something does go wrong or if you aren’t completely happy with the result but give your PC a call and go through everything you’re worried about and ask her exactly what is covered and how long for. Might give you a little more piece of mind.

don’t panic hun if you no what your getting you should not be unhappy like I said in my other post the one with the neg comments if you have looked into everything you should be 100 percent happy with the outcome xxxx good luck x

You will be fine hun,the % of people that have problems is really small, I just am one of the unlucky ones xx

Ladies honestly the negative will come up,but only because you have the forum,a forum that has been a godsend,and will continue to be throughout your journey,the negative posts will always get the most attention,but what about the positive posts you read every single day,the posts that gave you faith in this company,and how many people do you think have actually used this company and are very happy with the service,you will get the odd post where people feel upset and express an opinion,and I do feel for them, thats what the forum is for,but the person posting that thread dose not mean to scare you,They are just giving her accounts of what they feels has happened to them,and the forum is for positive and negative comments,In any case we never have the full details and I can imagine the mod cannot even jump in and comment due to patient confidentiality,please do not assume that things will go wrong for you,if that is the case the company would have been closed down months ago,hundreds of people are happy with the service,most of you know that I have been on this forum months,you have all been a godsend to me,I have undergone several cosmetic procedures with other companies and I can tell you hand on heart based on my own experience,MYA are the best.xxx

Aw thanks I no I’m just trying to think positive! I can’t believe how calm I am!!I’m at rosshall hospital with Andrew hart. I will let u no how it goes, I was an hour early so not really seen any1, just signed a few papers n got asked wot I want to eat lol I’m starving!! Xxx

Feeling the same babbylou my opp is on Friday scary but I suppose you always hear more negative things as a lot of the happy girls will probably leave the forum or only pop on now and then.good luck missc hope ll goes well xxx

hollybol I had a big asymmetry, my surgeon put 70cc bigger in my left but that wasn’t enough and I am still wonky and my boobs are different shapes. Also the nurse at my pre op said my boobs were slightly tubular and was surprised the surgeon hadn’t mentioned it. Post op my boobs look even more pointy looking and at my 6 week check she said it looks like i need a bigger implant in my left. I asked if the tubular thing should have been menioned and would it be a problem and she reassured me i was in safe hands and my surgeon knew what he was doing and would give me a great result so i thought brill. I have my 3 month check next week so I’m hoping my surgeon will agree to a re op! The nurse seemed pretty positive he would so im just keeping my fingers crossed.

heather25feb12 i understand what you are saying and agree you should fully look into everything before having surgery and I did. I saw my surgeon twice, tried on sizes for ages, twice and asked all the questions under the sun so trust me this is not because i didnt do my research.

That said i really dont want to scare anyone. Lots of people are over the moon with their results and wish they hadnt waited so long. My friend for example absolutely loves hers and they are awesome. But at the end of the day it is surgery and there are risks, it would be wrong to ignore that :: x x x

Thanks for the wise words Tina! I no mya has been brilliant so far, just hope everything goes to plan today! I’ve just had some last min nerves I keep thinking what if… Lol but I have faith in my surgeon n it should all be fine xxxx
