If you decide to have your operation with MYA then after your surgeons consultation you will have a pre op appointment with the nurse and she will give you an information pack on the do’s and dont’s. Anyway, you can fly 3 weeks after for short haul flights and 6 weeks long haul. Also, the chance of your implant flipping while flying is virtually zero, I’ve never heard of that and I’ve been researching BA’s since I was 15. You may also hear about the myth of your implants bursting while flying; this is complete rubbish as the pressure needed to burst your implants would kill you first, which is impossible unless you jump out a rocket in outer space lol x
