sooo nervous… any advice?

Hey guys, i’ve got my op on the 30th of july and i’m really nervous… i’m 5’7, just over 8 stone (trying to gain a little more weight), about a 32b and having 340cc unders. i’ve been checking out this forum for a couple of weeks and have read some negative feedback on the aftercare which has made me even more nervous. Even though my consultations with the surgeon and pc went really well and made me feel really comfortable.

Also some girls have said that they wished they’d gone bigger which has made me think that 340 aren’t big enough. The surgeon said that if i go any bigger than 380cc they may look unnatural and i’m worried that 380cc will too look unnatural. i’m so confused and i’m sorry for sounding like a wimp but I’ve been dreaming of this for like 10 years and just want it to go smoothly and not regret the size or anything.

Any advice or kind words to set my mind at ease would be greatly appreciated! xx

I had my ba done last tues through MYA and so far i cant fault them! My PC has been so good and the surgeon was excellent! Had no problems at all with pre-op care from MYA and the day after my op the nurse called me to check i was ok and then today my PC called me to see how i was doing and I’ve got my first check up with them on thurs.

So please dont worry!! With any company there is going to be people who have problems or who aren’t happy with the care they’ve recieved so dont let these put u off.

As for the 340’s, is this the size ur surgeon offered?if yes i would trust them! they know what there doing. I was offered 300,340 or 380 and i ended up hvaing 385cc unders. But sounds like your smaller than me (im 5″9, size 10, 34a) so 340’s will prob be perfect for u

Try not to worry, the whole experience has been so much easier than i thought it would be.

Thanks for the advice, it has helped. I guess it’s natural to be nervous, lol! The funny thing is that about 10 mins after i posted my thread, my pc called to ask how i was and that she was going on holiday for 2 weeks and just wanted to check if i had any questions before she went, which i thought was nice. Spoke to her about being undecided about the size and said when she gets back she’ll call me to come in and try the sizes again. The surgeon offered me 320,340 and 380cc so i’m going to try the 340 and 380 again to be doubly sure.

I hope your healing is going well and hope i’m as happy as you are. I’m a pretty positive person so i should be fine. i’ll keep you posted.

I think the best way to choose your size is to try the implants on inside the bra when you go to the clinic again and look at your profile in the mirror. I was going for a really natural look and would have chosen smaller than what I got in the end – 325cc anatomical – but luckily my surgeon convinced me that any smaller I wouldn’t be happy with, and he was right! I’m only 12 days post op but am starting to see the real size and shape, and the size is perfect for me, in fact contrary to what I originally thought I could have gone even bigger and still looked natural on my frame. Everyone I have spoken to says when its over they wish they had gone a bit bigger and I was doubtful, but it’s true!!

As for being nervous girls, it is natural! I am the biggest wimp ever and was completely freaking out the day before and on the day, but it really is nothing, going under general anaesthetic was kinda fun, they say “and you’ll be going to sleep now…” then next thing you know you have woken up and you have boobies. For nerves on the day I recommend Rescue Remedy drops but only ON YOUR WRIST not in the mouth as it’s nil by mouth before surgery.

Good luck girls you will love your boobs, I am soo soooo happy with mine and they haven’t even dropped to fully natural looking yet.
