sore nipples!!!

4 weeks post op and my nipples are so sorw and sensitive..cant even touch them and my clothes arnt helping..is this normal and please say it will improve !!!

Hi Samantha, I’m 13 days PO and mine are terribly sore too!! I hope it doesn’t last for another 2 weeks 🙁

Some days its ok, but the past week even after i get out the shower if the towel or my clothes brush against them it hurts ! So annoying specially when im at work lolx

Thank god im not alone!!! 3 weeks po Wednesday and im in agony!! Have tried everything. Dont know how much llonger I can cope 🙁 xx

When I breast fed my son I used lanolin nipple cream. Soothed them soo much. It’s very thick and oily so you need to warm it up between your fingers before applying it but it definitely worked a treat then. Im not sure if it’s the same pain as I’m still post op but will be getting some for after my op as I’m sure it would help. The brand is lansinoh, about ten pounds a tube but well worth it. I’m two weeks post op and im having the exact same problem!! its starting to ease a bit. I’ve been told its the nerve endings regenerating which is a good thing!! xxx

I am straight to the chemist tomorrow for some of that cream!!!!! Lol xx
