    Hi kirsties,

Yes it’s normal…really. I’m 3 weeks post op and been feeling very sore and hyersensitive for a while now… it’s mainly because the skin is stretching and the feeling is coming back, especially underneath both breasts. I have a few tight stitches and in time once the breast softens and gives way to the new implant the tight stitching will subside. Also one of your breasts will be a bit slower at healing than the other hence maybe why one of your scars is hgher than the other? Give it time honey, if you have any major concerns ring your nurse. Happy healing xxx

You’re welcome honey…at three weeks the soreness is not as bad, it’s slowly subsiding… cocoa butter definately does help!! Be careful not to get any on your incisions though if not fully healed xxx

I’m coming up for four weeks and had this really bad for about two weeks, just starting to get a bit better now. I found changing into different types of bra’s helped, and just wearing a top for about an hour whilst watching TV also good for the nipples. I also used vaseline on my nipples when they were really bad and that helped also xx

omg kirsties, you’ve just bought back memories of when i had my ba nearly 18 months ago! I had super sensitive nipples for the first 8 weeks! I found it helped slightly to put a breast feeding pad inside my bra, and also use to take my bra off for a couple of hours every evening while just sat watching tv. It does does better hunni, just hang on in there. Big hug Tammy x

Thanks Tammy – it’s bad because I wish I could walk around with my boobies out but then the air would prob hurt my nipples!!! Bring on the numbness…. Love them tho but soooooo wish they were bigger!
