sounds crazy, but how do you keep clean?!

Ive got my BA next Friday,and I know all the things i need to take, but keep thinking about the lack of showers and such that your allowed to have. How do you do it?!Just stay dirty?!As I was my hair everyday and know its going to be a nightmare and look HORRIBLE what did you guys do? xx

ive got my ba today and think av gota just be dirty for a week lol. av got baby wipes and dry shampoo so hopefully wont be too bad lol x x

I had a shower at 3days po you just kinda manage sticking the bits you want washed under the water lol like washing your hair bent ova, and sticking ur arms and legs under the water was difficult but worth it I hate not having showers and after your op u feel the world of good for it!

So not looking forward to having greasy hair x

Me either, mines so long and thick too, I wont be able to hide it

we only have a bath, no shower! so am just gona be skanky then lol x x

Mines long and thick too, I have to wash it every other day or sometimes every day. Will have to stock up on powder and dry shampoo and buy a hat. I don’t have a shower either so will have to go visit the nan and use hers lol x

But what do you do about your hair if you cant lift your arms up? how can u tie it up etc to make it look bit better lol or is it not that bad? x

im not having mine till the 21st but im planning on shallow baths and im going to but a chair by the bathroom sink, head back and get my sister to wash and blow dry it

I’m not looking forward to being a stig of the dump!! Lol…

My boyfriend’s mum’s best friend owns a salon so she’s sorted me out to have my hair washed, blow dried and styled a couple of times during the week!! Haha, otherwise I may just go insane!!

I have a stack of dry shampoo as well… although it dries my hair out really quickly

Hiya girlies! Im 4 weeks PO.

To wash my hair my mam would wash it over the sink for me and my sis would dry and style it. Not forgetting the dry shampoo on the days inbetween

I used the shower and bath. I would shower my body on the botton half or kneel in a shallow bath to make myself more human.

I used baby wipes religiously on the boobs and under-arms until I wa sable to get the scars wet.

I still use baby wipes twice a day on the boobs to wash off the dirty oil to apply new oil.

Hiya girls, it’s not so bad, this is what I did:

I have long hair so for days 1-4 i managed with dry shampoo spray and kept my hair up, it really did look fine even if i felt skanky

day 5, my hubby washed my hair over the bath, and same today on day 7

I used the shower head to wash everywhere from belly button down and used antiseptic wipes under armpits and around chest and neck etc

it isn’t ideal but it’s essential to keep it all dry xx

I have a shallow bath hun, haven’t washed my hair yet

I’ll ask my sister to give it a scrub later lol.. gonna be a nightmare cos I don’t wanna lean over bath or get shower head near my plasters xxx

when you leave over the bath barbie, cover your shoulders and front with a towel and you may feel a weight shift inside the boobs, weird but ok!! xx

Just get a friend/partner/family member to wash your hair in a sink and you can have quick showers, just be careful not to get your incisions wet. You’ll be fine xx
