Hi I already had a titanic spa evening booked at the end of March but that’s only 4 weeks and 4 days after my op.. When can you swim, sauna steam room etc? Not too bothered about the swimming though, as it’s classed as exercise isn’t it .. it says It’s a salt regulated swimming pool. I’d still like to go for the relaxation of everything else but I won’t go if anything in the steam rooms can affect my new boobies 🙂 Xx

Not a 100% sure but the steam rooms & things might affect the healing off your incisions as they will be damp & warm which is a perfect place for bacteria to grow & could cause infection… But this just a guess & how I would think of it but just ask your nurse, I love it at titanic spa would be a shame to miss out 🙂 xxx

I was thinking the same but not too sure how healed I would actually be lol thanks I have just been for a full day today with my sister for the first time so I’m not too bothered if I have to miss out I might change the name and give it to my mum for Mother’s Day 🙂 xx

Hi there , just to ket you know that I have been today for my 2 weeks pre op, check and asked the nurse if I could go swimming , as they have removed all dressings today and she told me I coukd now get them wet. But she said no to swimming as you would be getting into a pool with lots of different people and there is a risk of infection as the water is full of germs. Also she said that even though I can now shower , I’m still only allowed to get them wet with plain water and shouldn’t even use shower gel at the moment . X
