Sparkle's Story

22nd June, Highfield, Rochdale, Mr Traynor, 525’s

So it started off very early, 5.00 am to be precise! My bf got in the shower and i was busy packing my bag, then i got in the shower and we made our way downstairs. My dad got up and ready to take us, so the journey began. Set off about 5.55 and got to Highfield for about 6:35 (Very early) Said bye to dad and waited in recepetion with BF. filled out some paper work and bf had a coffee (asked me if i wanted one… hahah) about 7:25 I got shown to my room, made myself comfortable, soon after the waitress came to take my order. I ordered jacket potato with tuna and ice cream for afters. About 8.30, the anesthetist came to see me, explained what would happen. Then about 9:30 the nurse came in, checked my blood pressure and took my weight. about 9:45, Dr Traynor came to draw on me asked how I was then said see you soon. About 11:15 the nurse came to take me to Theatre. I hugged my bf and started to feel upset 😥 and nervous. I entered the room, lay on the table, I was being attached with ECG monitor and capsule. I remember talking about New York and that I badly wanted to go shopping. then I said my hand felt weird, then my head felt tingly and I was out! I remember waking up because someone was saying my name, the time was about 12:20 I briefly remember asking if everything went ok. Then I was being wheeled in my bed back to my room, during this short trip I was saying ”Weeeeee” haha. I was in my room speaking to my bf. The nurse came to check my blood, I think I may have fallen asleep after this. I had a cup of tea, some biscuits. Then later I had my dinner and got picked up by my dad about 5:45. I was very spaced out. I’m sure there’s lots I’ve forgotten but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience. The sleep from the GA was the best sleep I’ve had in a while haha. I’m pretty sure I was asking if I could take some home with me lol. Today I am feeling very out of breath and keep dropping off to sleep. Lots of rest is the key and of course, taking my meds religiously, every 4 hours. I will keep you updated of my progression. xxxx

Aww great story Sparkle – thats pretty much how my day went really – except i had my op about 9.30am so i got to go home about 2.45pm.

Wow i bet your boobs look fab with 525’s. I had 310/340 and mine seem huge! I was a D cup before though.

Forgot to mention that I cried 4 times in the hospital, first time because i thought i was being mean to my bf, the next 2 I didn’t know why and the last time I think I was sorry again for being mean haha. xoxoxo
