    Hi girls,

I am booked in to have my surgery on 21st of July in Manchester.

Just wondering as I wasnt given much info during my consultations on this, what size sports bra am I likely to need after surgery?? I am a 30 a/b at the moment and having 340cc implants under.

Also how long following surgery will I have to wear this? hopefully not too long as I know how keen I will be to get back into my strappy tops and dresses and show my new boobs off :)

    Thanks

Hi there, i was a 34b and had 340cc overs, and took with me two sprots bra’s, a 34dd cup. this should fit fine, or may an e cup, and sprts bra’s are quite tight. I wouldnt waste your money on too many of them, just opt for the £4.00 ones from Geroge at asda or primark ones.

I now measure a 32f, as they eventually get bigger. You,ll find that they look very flattish at first and very wide apart, your skin between them hurts aswell, as its very stetched, but after a few weeks they get better, then months later they start to move.

    Thanks Janey

How long was it until you started wearing normal bras? I am planning a holiday in the last few weeks of September and I would love if they were starting to look relatively normal by then, a bit of a cleavage by then would be a bonus too? :)

Hiya Peaches! I just guessed to be honest with you! I was a 34/36 c b4 surgery and bought a 34DD and a 34 E. The DD I wore for just after surgery but this wasn’t big or comfortable enough so am currently wearing the E sports bra. Apparently, each 260cc is equal to 1 cup size, so if you work on this and compare it t what you are now, then you could work out which sports bra to go for.

    Hope this helps!!!!

As far as normal bras are concerned, was told yday by my pc, to wait another 4 weeks, so that’ll be 6 weeks in sports bras. Just in time for my holds though (first week of August). ALi x

Thanks ali, that helps a lot

waiting 6 weeks before i get into some nice girly bras is going to be mega difficult, sure it will all be worth it in the end though :) xx

    Hi hun

I was a 32aa and had 380cc unders – and because I was so small with hardly any breast tissue of my own they are currently sitting up very high on my chest – so I am wearing a 34C sport bra which fits comfortably – the D was a bit baggy on me – primarily because the implant is sitting up higher than the cup IYKWIM. AM hoping once they drop I will fit in the D’s though (and crossing everything for a DD once they fluff!!!).

I’ve been told by my surgeon Marion Grob I have to wear a sports bra for two months. I think each surgeon is different.
