Since being on this forum i have read all sorts of reviews on sports bra’s and i was pretty much set on getting 2 macoms, but i have read that a nurse didn’t recommend them.

I have been looking at shock absorbers as well? does anybody have anything to say about these?

In your opinion what would you say would be the best sports bra to wear after surgery and what has served you well personally.

For immediately post op – 6 weeks get the MaCom. It’s the best. Forget the asda/ m&s/ tesco ones as they irritate your scars and do up at the back which is awkward. The MaCom has expandable cups so it fits no matter how swollen you are, and also when the swelling goes down, so you only need one size. It also does up at the front. Not the most attractive bra in the world but it’s 100% better than all the others so don’t waste your money.

When you’re ok to start wearing other bras again, the shock absorber is BRILLIANT! I love mine and wear it for the gym and sometimes to sleep in for support :) x
