6 weeks post op today and after seeing the nurse at 5 weeks (to check my incisions) she cleared me for normal bra’s, Massage and scar treatment for when I got to today, But I don’t see her till Tuesday coming.
But I’m wondering do any of you ladies wear your sports/support bra at night only?? or do you alternate and wear it at night now and then, My friend said when I was 1 week PO that I should still wear it at night, But I gotta admit I would love to be able to wear no bra at night…but don’t want to cause any problems If I don’t. What do you think??

I cant remember the last time i wore a sports bra to bed.. I usually just wear a crop top or nothing at all! To be honest i just usually forget that im only 5 weeks post op.. It feels like ive had them forever! As to whether or not it causes problems i dont know? But ive been fine so far 😀 xx

Really?! Haha ….Yea Crop top seems like a good idea actually, I’m sick of my bra popping undone I’ve had to start safety pinning it at night! lol xx

I’m 11 weeks po and still wear my macom to bed or a support crop top as they are supportive but not to restrictive. I still feel like my boobs are changing every week and like that they feel secure. I wear normal/pushup/underwire bras during the day and sometimes none for a while when I chill after a bath etc but for bed, the babies get strapped in 🙂 xxx

Oh right OK, do you not bother with the support bra at all in the day then? Just wear a normal bra…… cause that’s another thing I’m wondering do I still need to wear this now in the day or can I say wear no bra at all, I haven’t actually bought any bra’s yet, Its on my to do list 😛 lol I think I’ll still wear me bra for night time then I rek xx

No, I just wear a normal bra during the day, have done since about 9 weeks po after seeing the surgeon. Sometimes if I’m not going to work or having a chill day I pop a macom/support bra on and maybe a onesie ha ha 🙂 I had a friend who has had her boobs for 10 years and said to try and wear a support bra whenever I could to keep them from sagging. Can’t say its true but I guess it won’t do any harm to and hers still look good.
I didn’t buy any bras until the hour before my surgeon appt, got measured and bought a few incase he said I could 🙂 xxx
