hi girls, i’m 1 week PO and this morning when i was rubbing some bio oil on my boobies it made a horrible squelching sound when i rubbed a particular area and then did it again when i moved my arm! =/ is this normal!? it doesn’t hurt, just feels like an air bubble squelching around- made me cringe so bad! (yday i was getting sharp pains across the top of my chest- if that’s relevant?) has anyone else had this? is it anything to worry about? xx

Ah I was just about to come on and write about my left squelchy boob! It’s whenever I raise my arm even in the slightest and really makes me cringe too! Nurse said squelching, popping an gurgling is normal and not to worry :) x

I have literally had the exact same thing this afternoon! Rubbed some bio oil on to the upper part of my boobies for the first time today (I’m 1 week post op) i didn’t hear any noises whilst doing that but afterwards whenever I was reaching over for my glass of water I kept hearing a weird squelching sound in my left one lol! I have seen other posts on the forum with people saying that it’s normal to hear some weird sounds! xx

As normal as it may be…It really creeps me out…and is kind of making me not use my arms lol x

haha omg becca how bizarre that we both did that today! lol yeah I had to stop (attempting) to do my hair, the noise is gross! but I’m glad it’s normal so thanks for reassuring me girls =) does anyone know if the noises stop after a while or whether it’s just something we’ll have to learn to put up with? xx

also, the past two days I keep getting sharp pains right at the top and in the middle of my chest (it seems to be more near the bone than anything) has anyone else had this or do you think it could be due to trapped air? x
