    Hi all
I’ve just made my first consultation appointment with mya in London. I also have an appointment after the new year with transform. They offer local post op care, which would be more convenient (i live in norfolk) but ultimately it will depend on the surgeon.

    So I have a few questions…

    Uplift without implants:
    * How many cup sizes did you go down?
    * How long for the scars to heal?
*Did you use anything for healing/scar reduction?
    * I have 2 weeks off work for when I want the op (let’s hope they can fit me in!). Is this long enough? I work in the nhs and need to be very active in my role.
    * How did you find the GA. This is my biggest fear. I’ve had them as a child, but since working in theatres they worry me!

Any other pearls of wisdom gratefully received

    +1

Oh congrats on making hthe first step I’m 2 days post up now and I had an uplift with under the muscle implants 325/350 high profile I was a saggy 34d before and now I would say I’m a dd but more full and perkier all depends really everyone is different xx As for the GA that was my biggest concern but that was the easiest part and I was under for longer than expected 6 hours when I woke up I felt a tiny bit sick but they gave me anti sickness and I was fine x

    Thanks for the info.
6 hours under GA?!?! Why?? Omg that’s crazy.

Had my consult and it was amazing. So much more informative than transform. The woman was so friendly and went into more detail than transform, who really just told me prices.
I’ve booked to see the surgeon bit am worries about how much I will need to be travelling back to London post op… they said 4-6x! Hopefully that’s not all in the first month!

Mya is a little more expensive than transform but the service so far is better. I’d feel more comfortable seeing the wards/rooms and theatres though. Also have questions to ask such as is their anaesthetist on the premises 24 hours, is there a hdu and if not where is the closest…. medical stuff really (I’m medical myself!).
