Starting out! Guidance needed ??

Hi girls! I’m going for my first consultation on Saturday after years of waiting and saving. I’m going on a once in a lifetime holiday in August and hope to be done and healed by then is that feasible? I’m sure I’ll be posting lots on here but for now I want to know all the best questions you asked or the questions you wish you’d asked looking back!

Hiya.. It all depends how quick you get yourself in for surgery. I had mine at the end of jan and I’m going on holiday to Greece end of May time. I’m back to my normal self and have no pain or anything at all and I’m 9 weeks post op. My scars have healed very very well too.

I wish I asked the biggest I could go and also wish I knew that what size you ask to be isn’t the size you actually end up looking. I’m a DD now and honestly look a C at most. They won’t fill the bra like a natural size boob would xx

Hey Amber, first of all, I’m really happy for you that you’re finally doing this! I think, as it happened with me, your patient co-ordinator will run through the majority of important things with you. Your surgeon in your second consultation will tell you what size/projection/placement the implants should go, so I’d say to save your questions surrounding the actual implants/how your body will respond to them to the surgeon consultation. That might not be helpful, but that was my experience – in my initial consultation, she answered all my questions before I could ask them!

Also, I’m having my op 20th May and I really want to go on holiday this summer – I think it should be okay once your scarring has properly healed, I think as long as you get it done as soon as possible. I don’t know if this has helped, but yeah.

Thank you both I’ve literally only just picked up these notifications!! I had my initial consultation now and booked in to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks she said I should be fine by August and be able to pull off a bikini ???? I’ve been trying to get hold of my PC since and I just can’t get through to her though I thought they were supposed to be easy to contact! Nightmare x

Oh yay! How did your consultation go? The PCs can be a nightmare to get hold of! You’ve literally got to stay on their case sometimes lol xx

It went well and I’m booked in to see the surgeon on the 21st and I’m trying to get hold of the PC to book in a surgery slot because they’re filling up so fast! 72 hours and no reply….. I’m so impatient! How are you getting on?

Oh no I would get in touch with your PC again. Sometimes they don’t reply then if you leave it they Seem to forget. They’ve got soo many girls to keep up with. I think they need more PCs!

So I’ve now changed my PC because mine was telling me lots of fibs!! And my new one has been totally on the ball and I have my op booked in for 9th May – happy days!
