Steri strips 13 days post op

Saw the nurse Tuesday. She said I could take them off and have a shower in 3 or 4 days, today would make it 3 days but I’m scared lol. Did n e one else take them off now? xx

Yea i did that to, i didnt want to shower it felt so weird! lol. Just dont hold your boobs under the water for to long xx

Your be fine Holly I wasn’t allowed a shower till 14 days po ..but j had nipple lift so more stitches etc xxx

Hi Holly. I went to see the nurse 6 days po and she took them off and said i could shower 8 days po and i have done and all is fine I just use savlon spray and spray my scars morning & night and they are healing so well xxx

Hey girls I’m in the same boat and I’m sure my nurse said I could have a soak in the bath or a shower after 3/4 days? I’m running a bath and just read this… Should I not let them soak when I take the strips off?

Also… Is everyone using non perfumed shower gel/ bubble bath or just normal?
