steri strips

Hi girlies i went to the hosp 1 week after my op and they put steri strips on i cant remeber when she said they can come off or when i can have a bath properly?
i took them off yesterday and bought some new ones and put them back on the same as they was as i was scared.
I want to wear bras

Hi i had my post-op today. They said keep them on for a week (frm post op) But hair dry them on cool setting after getting them wet.

hello i had to have them put back on for another week when i had my post op (so two weeks after my op) but my nurse gave me loads more and said to keep putting it on for a further 2 weeks to flatten the scars and just take it off when i have a bath/shower then re-apply fresh dressing xx

i also had my post op today, they put steri strips on but said I could take them off monday and have shower and stuff xx

5 days is time to wait!u can start wearing bras at 6weeks bt I found them VERY uncomfortable until 8/9 weeks!also don’t go out and buy loads of bras at 6 weeks as they change loads in first few months!xxx

good point dreamergirl,waste of cash x or i spose primark to get one or two cheap ones to tide over for a few weeks or so,im soo impatient,lol x
