Steri strips off!! Need advice..

Finally had a real shower & soaked off steri strips but now scars feel very vunerable & exposed. Whats the name of those patches/strips that help the scars with healing? They’ve been mentioned on here loads but can’t remember name! Think its too early to use bio oil on scars as only 10 days post op but will it be ok on boobs for stretch marks? thanks x x

Do you mean dermatix silicone sheets? Don’t use those until your scars have healed fully, usually 6 weeks. It’s a bit scary at first but you’ll get used to it, maybe buy some more steri strips if you want to keep them covered for a bit longer x

I’m 17 days post op and still using steer strips. Got them dead cheap off eBay x

ive been told to use steri strips for 3 months and im only 3 weeks post op and fed up of them xx

I’m gonna buy some! Does the nurse give u some to take home too? Hopefully I’ll get bandages off today although I am a little scared of the bruising they look nice with dressings on because they hide the bruises!!! Xxx

the nurse put steri strips on my scars and told me to take them off in the shower 4-5 days after so 10 days post op and then leave them as they are and just make sure my sports bra is rite down and not digging in and ive been fine x

I’ve had an uplift so I am shitting myself about not having anything holding me together..I’ve already had the staples removed so without the dressings I’ll feel totally exposed 😥 I’m terrified i’m going to burst open!! xxx

Nurse told me to remove steri strips after 2 weeks but I was too scared! Now, at 3 weeks post op I’ve finally done it! Was scarey but scars seem fine x
