Has anyone had the nurse put steristrips on there scars at there mya check up, if so how long did they take to come off, and how did you soak them off?
hi Claire- the nurse put steri strips on me at my week check up, she advised me to begin washing normally and drying them with a hairdryer afterwards, and to keep them on for about a week. they just peeled off xx
ah, i will try that thanks rachel. They are really starting to irritate, and sort of give me little shocks when rub on my sports bra. mine have been on for just under a week now. Did you peel them off, or did they fall off. How was your scars underneath afterwards??
they started coming away from the scar so I peeled them off when they looked a bit worse for wear, after about 9 days I think. the scars looked quite red and wrinkly to be honest!! not what I expected but they’re really healing well now xx
