Stitches being removed? BARBED WIRE!!!?? x

Had my op yesterday with mr C, i believe i have to have my stitches removed, i dont have the dissolvable ones, my partner just sasid how horrible it is having them removed, how kind he is! lol

i am going to see nurse in 10 days, next friday, i reckon these plasters will fall off before then? i just had a soft touch over the plasters, feels like im sown up with barbed wire???!!! my partner said its proberly dryed blood??

Don’t worry honey,the nurses know what they are doing,tell your boyfriend to behave he has watched too many movies,tell him mother t will be round there to sort him out if he keeps scaring you,honestly honey,you just rest don’t even give it a second thought.xxx

Stitches?? Imagine how I bloody feel I’ll be having staples lol!! xx

I’m 3 weeks post op and can honestly say it didn’t hurt one bit having my stitches out. Like you I was dreading it but it was absolutely fine. In fact because I was still pretty numb underneath I didn’t feel a thing! xx

Thank god for that Faye. I feel like it’s so thick? I thought it was like thin bits of fishing string type thing. But it feels like barbed wire. I don’t think I should lift the plaster and look :-0. 10 days to wait to see nurse. X
