Hi, I am new to the forum and was wondering the same? I’ve heard some surgoens use glue instead of stitches? I’m going for my first consultation on Thursday and VERY excited! I’ve been hearing alot of good things about Mario Russo? When I go on Thursday I’m going to ask if I can have a consultation with him an dMr Singh! when is your op Emily? x

Hi – re stitches ans drains…..

i had a consultation with Mr C and he didnt give any information about the surgery. However when i had a consultation with Marion Grob she was much more informative and told me that she uses drains. x

im booked for september 13th with mr C.

I didnt ask about the drains as i felt so rushed but the stitches he told me they would be removed?! i was confused as i thought they just dissolved. I have met mr singh and didnt really feel comfortable with him at all, he was very blunt and rude to me. thats why i met mr C. and chose to book with him

I think most surgeons use a mixture of dissolvable and non dissolvable stitches. So the majority will disappear and then some of them will need to be removed about a week after surgery. Hope this helps xxx

I had Mr C. He used disolvable on me (uplift and implant). He doesn’t use drains. He is a man of little words but very good surgeon x

I had my op with Ben chew in Glasgow and when I went for my one week check I didnt get any stitches taken out or trimmed.

Just had my dressings taken off I was given a little clean up and she put steri strips over my scars and I was fine.

My stitches are all gone from what I can see x

Hi girls I had Mr C 2weeks ago, he doesn’t use dissolvable stitches, you have them taken out at 10days by the nurse which doesn’t hurt and I was so surprised at how small and good the scars looked for so soon on. Mr C’s not very chatty but really well known for his small and neat incisions as he also specialises in hair transplants. I’m so far really happy :) x

hey girls,to anyone thats thinking of going with mario russo…

im now 2 weeks post op and my boobs look great,he knows what he is talking about and trust him on size because he only does the natural look so you wont get anything less.

He recommended 300cc for me straight away but i thought it may be to big so he gave me 260cc to pick from too…i picked 260 but kind of wished i went for 300 now but still love my boobies to bits.

My consultation with him was only about 20mins,i felt rushed and when i left i said to my boyfriend that i was going to wait because it kind of seemed like he didnt care enough to spend more time with me.

My boyfriend helped me to change my mind and im glad he did. dr russo is good at what he does :) and i have not had any pain…

he uses disolvable stitches but you still have to get them trimmed(getting it done 2mro)

hope that helps a little xxx

Mr C definitely used dissolvable on me but I had uplift too. Think he uses normal stitches if just doing BA
