    Hi girls.
I haven’t been told if I have absorbing stitches or not, but I was wondering if anyone had their stitches removed?
My incisions were healing well but because of my stitches are scratching my bra and they get hanging on the bra, my incisions stars to hurt. I am having my 6 weeks appointment end of this week but I was wondering is this the moment when my stitches should be removed or the nurse was supposed to remove them earlier?

I had dissolvable stitches, I’m 12 days po and I have an appointment for Friday if they still haven’t gone, which they haven’t up to now, give them a call and tell them that you’re stitches are still in. Xx

I had them trimmed at 6 weeks because I asked for it. Unfortunately the place where they scratched my skin is not looking very well compared to the rest of the incision. I should have had them trimmed sooner but I wasn’t advised about this. Lack of communication…
