Stopped taking pill, why?

Why are we told to stop taking the pill before & after op?

I’ve stopped mine but never asked why I had to do this.

taking any contraceptive the pill increases your risk on having a blood clot (blot clots can be deadly), some pills are actually worse than others, im on dianete which is one of the higher ones xx

How long before do we stop? I’m on microginon lik that’s how u spell it it’s the green packet? Xx

They say 1 weeks before & for 2 weeks after x

I wasn’t told anything about stopping the pill so I carried on as normal. But still go with that your surgeon says. x

I typed that wrong I was told 2 weeks before & 2 weeks after x

Aw ok il have to ring and ask xx
