Stopping the pill?

Hi girls – did anyone switch to the progesterone only pill instead of coming off completely? Really don’t want to come off totally and my gp said it would be fine….but obviously want everything to still be ok!! Xx

Ive just stopped mine, my op is tuesday. I dont want to either i litterally just came back on it for two days after my cycle break, then got told to stop so i worries ill come on again!! Mess up the cycle. But they said incase it thins the blood, id suggest doing what they tell you iust incase they know what theyre doing dont they x

Thanks gina! So you’ve only stopped about a week before? My nurse said to stop for 4 weeks! (How long I’ve got), which seems like a crazy amount of time to me!

I know excited!!!
Well i only booked it Monday abd when i went to the nurse Tues, she told me then. She said they like it to be longer but i didnt know.
Iknow it seens a bit drastic doesn’t it i get worries that i havbt been stopped for 4 weeks! And we have to stay off for two weeks after too 🙁 x

I know blerg! I called my gp and he said 4 weeks was way longer than necessary and if i wanted to do 2, so i might do that. Angry boyfriend haha!

Im a dropped B lost a few sizes then had a baby so having uplift and 30o impoants x

Just an uplift atm, might have implants down the line but I’m a 34D to start and I’m also having vaser and a mini TT so my surgeon reckoned it was enough to be getting on with! Wait to see how I heal then maybe later have some implants to add fullness. I’m only 8 1/2 stone but my weight went been up and down so much when I was younger I’m left with this belly pooch that shouldn’t be there and sad boobies – can’t wait! let me know how yours goes! xx

Hiya. I was the same, with the wieght but i was a DD and dnded up. b then had a baby went to DD again then back to a B and i was left with loads if skin and just a tiny bit of boobies 🙁
Had my op tuesday had uplift and implant. Yesterday and this morning was painful feels a tad tad bit better this afternoon just keeping dosed up on two co codamols every 6 hours had some ibuprofen aswell to top up. Strappings proper uncomfortable and cant get comfy on sofa my back hurts but so far not too bad hopefullly will be worth it! Whens your op? X
