strange question.. but is it ok to wear hair extensions in theatre??

hi girls.. op tomorrow!! eeekkk! do u think it’ll be ok to have my extension in in theatre!? bit worried as they’re glued in so cant take them out now…? xxx

I had to ask this because I was so upset at the thought of having to take my extentions out .

It depends what extentions you have in. If you have anything like clip ins or any extentions with metal in the top then you have to take them out. If you have sewn in or glued in extentions this shouldn’t be a problem.

All surgeons have slightly different rules and guidelines so ask your surgeon what he thinks. Last thing you want is to turn up for your op and either get sent home or to the back of the queue when you get there.

What does it say in the info they gave you? I was told to remove everything that wasnt “natural” your best of checking before you get down there! Good luck for tomorrow

they’re glue in.. im thinking if i just dont mention it they wont know lol they are quite long though but maybe if i put it up they will just think its mine ? do they ask? there is no way i’ll be able to take them out without debonder.. and i dont have any! surley wont send me home? well i bloody hope not its a 3 hour drive away! xxx

Phone your PC first thing in the morning and ask her? That way maybe you will have enough time to buy some debonder in time.

I was thinking of just lying because mine are sewn in lol. I think the glue ins should be fine.

heyy, i had my baoperation yesturday and had glue in extensions, this wasnt a problem and i was allowed to leave them in xx

No make-up (none what so ever)

No deodrant

No body Lotion

No fake tan

Nail varnish/fake nail on your finger nails

If your hair is long up in a bun, ponytail with a hair band that doesn’t have metal on it.

I mentioned this to my nurse about make, and I was like noooo omg! She then said well maybe minimal minimal and take a baby wipe with me,! But to be honest I won’t wanna ruin the chance of anything so at least I can wear my hair in! And huuuuggeeee glasses to cover my face! Lol xxx

Hya i had my op 2 weeks ago and i had my extensions in but my hair was tied up, they were clip in extensions and i didnt hav to take them out. I asked the nurse as i was sat on the operatin table just before i got put to sleep i asked if i shud take them out and she said no it will be ok xx

My nurse said i can leave my extensions in and they are micro rings (so have metal in them) xx
