Strange request

Hi girls

Wasn’t sure whether to put this on the forum as the person in question could be reading it.

I’ve had a strange friend request from a guy (was stupid enough to put his picture on) calling himself ‘admin’. Anyone else had?

I’ve rejected him, obviously. But was a bit spooked out.

i didnt think men were allowed on this site?

Don’t suppose there’s anything to stop them.

men are aloud on the sight because its a cosmetic surgery forum not just for bas, ive seen a few enquiring about some procedures on here, but if you think its some perv you should def report it xx

Is it just me but I get alot of random requests from people i’ve never even spoken to or seen on here before. That guy was weird enough not to even hide he was a bloke but im guessing it could be quite easy to just put a random girls pic on as a profile pic and you wouldn’t know any difference.

All you girls with before and after pics have helped me so so much and I want to return the favour for other pre op girls but am worried that there maybe some on here that arn’t who they say they are!

Maybe im just too cynical xxx

Has the guy got longish looking hair (pulled into ponytail)? I was nosing around the ‘groups’ section in here and the groups ‘surgeons’ and ‘aftercare’ have a guys picture as the group administrators – could it be something to do with that?x

I know what you mean Fairy. I’ve accepted so many requests from people I’ve never spoken to that don’t have pics. I used to think well, if that’s how you get your kicks, that’s your own sad fault. But to put his pic on??!!! And I don’t mean to be nasty but he looked like a right geek.

I also don’t mind helping transsexuals, as there may be some on this site. But if he was a transsexual, he could have at least sent me a message. x

Yeah – deffo Ginger – go to ‘groups’ at top of website, look down list to ‘surgeons’ go into group and look in top right hand corner it will say group administrator and you can click on pic – we can stalk him! Lol x

Strange hunni. I’ve just updated my status saying not excepting anyone i haven’t seen or spoken to before. Hope people don’t think im horrible or up myself if they read it (hopefully it hasn’t come across that way) but when my pics are on it’s very personal. You wouldn’t exactly upload those sort of photo’s on facebook.

you can add the mya moderator as a friend, like you would with other friends requests xx

Whilst we are on this subject – how do I upload a profile pic? Just so you all don’t think I’m a 19 year old Ginger boy! Lol! I’ve tried going through profile – change avatar – but it won’t let me browse for image ?!x

Well, strange you should mention that Fairy! But I was trying to send my pics on facebook to one of my friends. It was the morning after my op, I had had no sleep and was trying to do it on my phone. Thought I’d managed it quite successfully. Until the whole of the world (well, all of my friends) told me they were on my wall. I am mortified. x

If was actually admin they’d have control over the acceptance of the request :S, but men can get on here as i think theres only the one site for both sexes.

Luckily, anyway, everyone in the world has known for ages I was having it done as I was too excited to keep it to myself. Shame I wasn’t a bit more refrained that day. Christ, they were all strapped up as well. They must have thought I was starting some weird porn facebook page. x

I always wonder about this you know I thought the other day I wonder if there’s any pervs pretending to be a girl to look at the pics but I think too much about stuff and am paranoid lol! HI All – we have deleted this person. Just to let you know it was just one of the MYA space developers (someone who doesn’t work for MYA but had helped build the site) who made the site testing the functionality as we are hoping to add more exciting tools to this site soon. He forgot he signed in as admin. I have removed this now anyway and they will create a test account with no images on. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!
