Strapping!!

Has anyone asked not to have strapping and if so what did they say?

Iv seen a lot of people say there strapping caused them to have blisters and cuts which made having there ba so much more painful!!

Which surgeon are you having? I had Mr Traynor and he doesn’t use strapping xx

Hey Kim three isn’t any need for that sticky crap as they are chest bands now which is miles better so I would tell them u want a chest instead xx

@jodiec I thought he used strapping! this is the only thing I’m actually worried about! I really don’t want the strapping! I might text my pc think she would be able to do anything?

@jodiec Yh I was scared at all about my ba until seeing those! I really don’t want to have to deal with the pain of the actual ba and then sores from the strapping!! I’d rather just not have it even if I have to pay for a breast band myself I’d rather do that!! Lol iv text my pc we will see if she texts back ? lol

It depends on your surgeon, I’m allergic to a lot of adhesives so asked what the risks were without having strapping and he said there is a risk of displacement. You will find horror stories on here about strapping but there will be twice as many people who had no problems but it’s not something you would post about if it was fine.

I had strapping and whilst it’s not comfortable at all its very supportive and I could tell the difference between that and a sports bra and I didn’t feel half as secure after. Mine came off no problem with just a tiny bit of dry skin. If that is what your surgeon recommends I’d go with it, better to have a few bruises and cuts that will heal in a few weeks than go against his advise and risk spending all that money for them not to heal properly xx

I had unders and strapping. Quite tight. But worth it if the surgeon uses it they probably know more than us! After spending so much it’s worth the pain of strapping for one week to get desired results.

How r u feeling now rachel? Second time round is def worse 🙂 im ok now 🙂 i have sticky band round top but going to take it off and replace it with a proper breast band. Been told no bra!!. They didnt have a spare on surgery day. I actually rang to ask if i could put a bra on as feel really unsupported. I actually prefered the strappi g last time. Xx
