    Hi!

I’ve heard that Mr traynor doesn’t use strapping and drains- is this true?
If so, are they not better for healing? Id be happy not having the drains as I’ve heard that they are painful, but if they drain any fluid then wouldn’t it be better to have them? Or does it not make any difference?
And will I be supported enough without strapping?

My op is in 3 days and I’m probably worrying about nothing but I’m starting to get nervous now!!

    Thank you all!!xx

Hey hun, the usage of drains & strapping/no strapping is highly surgeon specific. It’s personal preference and not a necessity so don’t worry about it as your surgeon knows what he’s doing . Good luck with everything, only 3 days to go yay!xxx

Hey! Oh I thought it might be really important and might affect the end result! I’ve heard nothing but good things about him so not too worried but just didn’t know if they affected anything!
More worried about how they will be afterwards, just hoping recovery goes smoothly!
I know I can’t believe its only 3 days away!! Just waiting for my admission time
    Thank you for replying!xxx

@laurawight No don’t worry, it just depends on surgeon’s technique and having had both (drains & strapping) you’re not missing out on anything! Strapping was the worst part of my recovery and having drains out wasn’t pleasant to say the least. It’ll all be over before you know it and you’ll be waking up to a lovely pair of boobies xxx
