Strapping is driving me mad!!!!

Hi ladies. Now 3 days post op. Not sleeping much at night, but managing a bit during the day! Only on paracetamol as can’t take codeine:(! Pain is getting better. But just very sore from the drain incisions. There still bleeding:( I have been up and about, very uncomfortable in the car (bumps) so going to stay in next couple of days! Starting to get very itchy. Strapping is driving me crazy. Makes my boobs so hot and very tight! Only 4 days left with it on. My boobs just feeling like the there getting bigger not sure it this is normal. Hope all the girls who had there op last week are healing nicely. Good luck to any girls who are next week 🙂 xx

My boobs felt bigger everyday! It was the swelling. Good luck with your healing, it does get better. Xx

Hey had my strapping on for 6 days now! It’s not that bad anymore, can’t wait to get it off on Tuesday though to see my new boobies! Lol mine had started making crackling noises I think where there’s strapping on too of strapping and it’s losing it’s stickiness! They just put new strapping over the drain holes when they took mine out… Did yours just get left!? X

Oh I bet you can’t wait to get it off! Not had no noises yet lol! Do yours itch? I get so scared that something’s not right because I don’t no what pain is normal and what isn’t lol. My drain got stuck they put plaster and more strapping over it but peeled it back to see what pain was and sore it was still bleeding. 🙁 happy healing hun 🙂 xx

Yeah it’s a little itch by tummy as it’s so tight and they’ve done it quite far down! Oh no that doesn’t sound good Hun! If it carries on I’d go in earlier than your week check up incase it gets infected or anything! Or at least call them with your concerns if you haven’t already! Happy healing! Xx

Rang nurse today who said I should go doctors. Got a slight infection in left boob where the drain was:( been given some more antibiotics to take as well as the original ones. And stronger painkillers. Tramadol. They are great so hopefully will be on the right tracks to getting better 🙂 xx
