strapping is killing meeeee

feeling really sick of this strapping. Cutting in my armpits :(((. Tried to call nurse 2day, if I can remove it, but didn’t receive call back

I feel your pain lucia I did cut away abit of mine it was just too much I removed abit under the arms and the top of my chest near my neck. How many days post op are you? Because at day 3 it felt like it was cutting into me and the skin underneath felt sore I called to arrange to go in to get it checked and the nurse said it could be removed between 5 and 10 days post op. xx

my opp was on tuesday, so 3 days PO. Having my app on tuesday, but I don’t think I can keep it on that long. Skin under the tape feel so sweaty and sore, can’t even straighten my back, coz is so tight. xxx

Hi Hun I had loads of tight strapping to and was told I could take the worst parts off day 4 but to leave as much on as I could . Realy do take it off very slowly the skin under will be dry and saw you don’t want to damage it . If its hurting under your arms I would take it off Hun . Xx

Hey hun, I couldn’t stand mine ended up getting other half to remove top section… Just ended up with lower parts covered… Stay away from removing bits near ur incisions an ul be fine!
Feel ur pain, mine cut into my back, still have a big scab on my back/right shoulder… Evil stuff!! xx
