Strapping off, picture up, 450/425 cc and advice needed from post op girls :)

Got my strapping off today, got a lot of dropping to do and one is definitely more swollen than the other but i love them already. Still having quite a hard time with recovery though but I’ve always been the sick one so I’m not sure why i’m surprised. Got some Naproxen from my gp and thats helped massively, but struggling to see how I’m gonna go back to work on Monday. I don’t want to scare anyone as i know 99.9999% of girls have fairly okay recoveries, i think I’m just a weakling. :D.

Also, wondering if any post op girls can help me. When the nurse cleaned my incisions i noticed some blood as she wiped, i asked her what it was and she said one incision is oozing and slightly open and thats perfectly normal. She put some steri strips on them and told me they should be all healed in 3 days. Now being the worrier i am i am absolutely panicking it’s not gonna heal. I can’t see how it can possibly heal when I’m moving around. Anybody got any experience of this? I need to man up i think haha.

Bless you hun. It will definitely heal. Just take it easy and rest as much as you can for the next few couple of days. I left my steri-strips on longer than the three days suggested by the nurse as I was afraid my right incision hadn’t healed properly. I took them off after seven days instead and there was still a tiny bit of fluid, so I bought some more steri-strips and left them on for another four days. The incision had healed a couple of days ago when I checked it.

Had 550cc on 26/2 they are great. Moderate pain but the drugs help that they sent home with me. Had strapping off on Thursday and have the worst bruise ever but had a popped blister too and a small bleed from incision but didn’t cover it and healed by time I got home. Happy healing hun xx
