Strapping on incisions help

I had my op on Friday and got strapping on until tomorrow. However where my incision is its starting to ripple up because of the natural crease which is causing a “solid” bit. This is pressing on my incision (mainly on the right one) and is really starting to hurt.

Anyone else had this? I’m wondering whether I could try loosening it a bit

By day five my strapping had practically pealed off in most places, the nurse said it was fine and often happens. If your that uncomfortable I would loosen it carefully but be sure to keep it covered until she cleans and puts the new stuff on tomorrow.

Hi Trudi, have you had your strapping off now? How was it? The nurse called me and said to go get it off today but not fully healed so now got to go back on Tuesday!! Hope yours is OK xx
