So I was totally too laid back pre-op and didn’t really start thinking about things I’d need(probably didn’t help that my surgeon was away til 2 days before my op so we didn’t even decided on a size til the day!) and it didn’t even cross my mind the thought of stretch marks so I didn’t start oiling up weeks in advance or anything. I had some small ones already but tbh I wasn’t even really aware of them til the surgeon pointed them out and I wasn’t too concerned because I wasn’t going much bigger in size and I was re-filling empty boobs from weight loss. But bah! This morning I noticed stretch marks!! They’re under my plasters where I can’t even get to them with bio-oil! Damn!
Has anyone had stretch marks post-op? Do they get much worse after they’ve just appeared? And is there any hope of reducing them/getting rid of them or is it all too late now? Ugh this feels like puberty all over again….
