Struggling for breath

3 days post opp and my breathing is soooo tight. I’ve moved the clasp of my bra from the tightest hook to the second is that ok?? It feels a lot less tight on my incisions n much more comfortable x

My breathing is the same Charlotte.. how did your surgery go? I got mine done the morning before you. Are you happy? I’m getting there now just taking pain killers.. it’s the worst on a morning. Xx

This is normal the side affects from painkillers is shortness of breath too, check your bras not too tight I struggled I was wearing an M&S 34DD then changed to an Asda sports bra 36DD I was a 32A before surgery & when I went for a check up my bra was too tight because of how swollen my body went after surgery Xx

My surgery went well yes I’ve woke up today finally feeling that bit better n able to sit up easier on my own. My breathing feels at ease now I’ve loosened my bra off abit. But my boobs still feel very hard how are you @megan ? Xx

I just feel like it’s hard to tell at the minute as there so high n swelled can’t wait to see how they change. My incisions are getting tingly and itchy now!! Have you been trying to massage yours yet? Xx

@charlottet I did the same Hun … With the bra and band I decided as long as there was some pressure that was ok & nurse agreed that was fine … I put a normal bra on after a few days cause I was so uncomfortable & she was cool with that too

I struggled to catch my breath especially in the mornings for about 4 weeks xx

Oh good.. yeah I’m the same they’re very high and swollen at the minute as expected so hopefully they’ll settle soon..
I’ve tried massaging them today, they aren’t hurting at all it’s more my muscles and stuff still. Xx

I’ve attached a pic of mine, I can finally start moving my arms a bit better now and doing more. Still uncomfortable though xx
