Sunbeds?

Hi everyone,

Is it OK to have sunbeds after your op? Covering the incision scars!

I’ve been told not to let the sun get to the scars for the 1st year as they will heal more unoticeable.

Can you also have sunbeds close to your operation? I heard darker skin means darker scars but not sure if a tan on white skin counts?

Something I’m curious to know about.

I went on the sun beds everyday for two week before my op. X no problems. Just daren’t after …gun a wait 4-6 weeks. X
