Sunbeds

Hey girls,

Was told my pc that I wouldnt be able to go on the sunbed for 1 year after my op (having uplift and implants), anyone else been told this? Will I be ok to go on and just cover my boobs. Random I know and know sunbeds are bad really but I like to go on a couple of times week for 4 weeks before I go on holiday and I like as many holidays as poss.

Anyone have any advice?

Girls ive been going on since i was 5weeks just cover the scars with plasters or micropore tape!!! Boobies are 3months old now and there fine nice and bronzed lol

So would h say 11 days PO is to early? I could cover up my wholeboobs? X

I was also told a year and died a bit inside when she said that! She did say that lots of girls do go on though and cover up scars. I’ve seen girls on here go on holiday fairly soon afterwards so it’s only the same as that providing you cover them a bit? I’m gonna have my last one on Monday night and my op is thursday, just in case. Good to hear yours have been fine with it staciejane x

i was told 6 weeks PO – it should be fine if you cover the boobs – im having sunbed withdrawal symptons! cant wait for 2 weeks time! xxx

Ok thank Em. Im going to have one tomorrow. That will e 12 days PO. im very proud of myself lol. Im just gling to cover my whole boobs with a thick t shirt xx

Emilyjayne – please dont take this the wrong way and pls dont think i am being a ***** I’m not – PLS PLS dont go on a sunbed hun til you have had ur 6 week review… hun dont risk it. If you have any problems (which i hope u dont) you have put on the forum that u r going to have a sunbed – this may affect your aftercare as it clearly states no sunbeds for 6 weeks in the paperwork.

Fair enough Cuks. If I did go on it wouldn’t harm them if they were covered completely up though would it? I understand what u mean about aftercare. I didn’t really think of it that way. When could I start having spray tans? Again if my boobs were covered? As when u have to rinse it off the next day would it matter if the water mixed with the tan went on boobs? Xx

EmilyJayne – i am going on sunbeds for the first time tomorrow after 12 weeks post op……. just be patient. Its only a few weeks to wait for a lifetime of enjoyment. Im not sure about spray tans but just wait til ur 6 week check after that its all good hun. x

I also got told to try and wait a year, however if NOT its at your own risk for your scaring to show more, but to wait at least 6 weeks then cover up your scar. My boobies are only 1 week old but as soon as I hit 6 weeks i’ll be hitting those sunbeds defo!!! XXX
