had a BA 8 weeks ago and desperately need a few sunbeds now, sick of being pale lol! what can i use to cover my scars? xxx
i used plasters or thick medical tape. or can you go on the sunbeds and leave your bra on just pull the straps down and pull the bra cup down a bit xx
can you go on the sunbes 2 weeks PO and leave your bra over the scars? xxx
Clothing, like bras only work out at factor 7, so you need something over your scars that prevents UV, and not sun lotion (that isn’t made for the high intensity of sunbeds. Not only do you need to cover your scars, but your whole boob, as you can tan blotchy.
They recommend not using sunbeds for a reason, but obviously, there is ways to get around it, although at two weeks, I wouldn’t suggest if at all xx
I’ve just had my one week check up with nurse today and I asked this question as im off on hol in spetember and like to use sunbed to get a base tan She said I can use Sunbeds now but must not get scars exposed. Her advice was to keep bra on and cover scars for at least 4 months. If the scar is covered with a completely opaque garment there is physically no way uv rays can pass through. Happy tanning

Sun beds are the sun but more intense. If you wear a vest in the sun you get tan lines? Obviously the suns rays are blocked by clothing? I’d say as long as your sensible wear some tape and your bra you’ll be fine! I’ll be back on them in no time. Confessed tanorexic!
i put the winkies you use for your eyes over my scars xx
Sun rays aren’t completely blocked by clothing at all that’s so missleading, if you hold a T-shirt up to the light you see the sun/light through it. Most summer clothing is made from a thin cotton, cotton is a woven breathable textile so full of little holes So the UV rays do get through clothing, obviously it’s less intense than if you were nude.
I like the image of sarahlouise with goggles on her boobies
