Sunbeds

Anyone know what the sunbed rule is? They say no sunbeds for 6 weeks is this because of the scar and if so is it okay to use the sunbed if you cover your scars? x

I had my BA 6 weeks ago, and i go on hol on monday, my surgeon wouldnt do my BA any closer than 6 weeks before i was due to go due to my scars, he said i have to keep them out of the sun. Apart from that he everything else will be fine xx

Thanks Sharon, I’m 9 days post op and I’m feeling brave enough to venture out today so I thought I’d treat myself to 9 mins on the sunbed. How are you feeling now are you pleased with your new assets? x

Okay Ticky88 thanks, why is that though? Do you know? Is it just about the scar or does it affect the implant? x

I think its mainly down to the scar. Dr singh said not to as even covering the scars wont give enough protection. tbh though i dont think i’ll last the full 6weeks maybe 3 lol xx

ooohh 9 days post op,do ya not think that may be abit soon for the sun bed? Just becareful if you are gonna go on it so soon. I wouldnt if i was you, i would find it abit too risky.
