sunbeds???

Hey im 15 days post op… i no ur not allowed tu go on the sunbeds for 12weeks but has anyone went on them now??? Also when can you start lying on ya side? X

My PC told me not to let the scars out in sunlight for at least a year as the scarring can turn permanantly red if you do. If you are going to cover up i guess it’s different?

Hi hun…i got advised that too but at my consultation they also advised me not to go on sun beds or sun bath 9 months after my operation. This is because it makes the scars go thick and red…she said if you have to make sure you cover them up with plasters so no rays get to them. Hope this helps : ) x

Hi Amanda how are you getting on? Has the horrible ferruling you was getting gone yet? Are you completely pain free now? I have tried sleeping on my front just for ten mins with my v pillow protecting them it feels ok I am just shattered as I don’t sleep well on my back. I am still getting discomfort first thing in the morning and on the sides through the day. Have your dropped much? Do you have new photos? If so would like to see? Lublu74@googlemail.com x

hi Lublu, one of the girls on the forum bought a sloped support pillow from argos for £20 and said it really helped her to sleep, she’d had none in the days following her op, may be worth a try?

Hi I reccommended this to several girls as I brougt it for the first week that you are meant to sit upright and it’s great for that. But I am ok to sleep flat now and it is confy to sleep flat but I just can’t sleep on my back I need to sleep on my side or tummy and I am shattered cos I can’t yet if I sleep on my slide for like 10 mins I feel like my implant is moving around in water after. hey lublu im getting on really well how bout u? im pain free iv tried sleeping on my side its ok but when i get up in the morning i get a pulling sensation. my right boob is still more swollen . there starting to drop now looking more natural how bout urs? i havnent done any new photos yet il try and done some later have you got any new ones? x
