Surgeon Consultation

Hi Girls,

I have my surgeon’s consultation on the 9th August, just a little nervous as I am not sure what to ask, and don’t want to leave there thinking I wished I’d asked that!

Is there any advice/suggestions for what to ask?

make sure you tell them what size you wanna look as well as measure, ask whether its gunna be unders/overs and why, are ur boobs gunna be far appart/close after (thats what i wanna ask when i next go)

and maybe possibly little things such as will drains be used, day/night case? and things such as when can you resume any activities you may do after the op, but i think the nurse may go through those sort of things with you at pre op or at 1 week check im not sure. i didnt rli ask much when i went 1st time thats why i wanna go again to check sizes etc. x

ur welcome i was thinking of things like when can we go swimming n have boobs fully under water etc too cause ppl get told different by different suregons, just little things that are worth asking x

Brilliant! I’ve also printed off the bible too have a look through that as well. Did you take a sports bra with you to put the implants in to gauge the size? x

no helena already had 1 there, but i kno some people have taken a few of ther own tops to try on to see what they look like, i think aswell once the implants are in ther not gunna look as big as they do jst in a sports bra cause ur just kinda plonking them ontop of ur boobs so i think its just a rough idea, i tried on 460s n thought f**k me they look huge! lol but i recon when ther in wont look as big x

hahaha I don’t know what size I’m going to be given yet, I know what I want to be cup size wise but I’ve seen a lot of girls post on here that the surgeons don’t use that as everyone is different so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see – my bf is coming so he’ll be able to tell me if it looks too big or too small haha x

well i didnt want my bf to come in at 1st cause i felt embarraced lol but helena ended up dragging him in to look and all i got was yeah they look good! i wa like yeah i bet they do to you!! bloody men for you that hehe x

Yeah, my PC said it would be a good idea if he came with, when I asked him he was like ‘um yeah! There’ll be loads of pictures of boobies!!’ I was like OMG typical! I told him he can look until I get my new ones then he is only allowed to look at mine! hahaha I think he’s more excited than me atm, I’m just nervous x

yeah ive been getting him to look at boobs i like etc but hope he doesnt think hes got a rite still when ive got mine hehe! and dont be nervous ul be fine x
