Surgeon put one bag over and one under muscle!! Started by: msleigh

Major help is needed here… I had BA back in February (would rather not say at this point who with) I’d previously had enlargements done ( under and over the muscle) but needed them re-doing. The surgeon told me he would do a fabulous job(!) and he would put them (obviouly both bags) under the muscle. I knew as soon as the bandages came off they didn’t look right but was told they need to ‘settle’ down. I’ve had previous op’s and always loved what I first saw in the mirror, but this time I cried, not a good start! As they started to settle I noticed they were not looking good at all, they were looking odd and one had not ‘dropped’ as I was told it would do. Went back and the surgeon told me that he could ‘open me up and drop the bag’ considering I’d paid nearly £6,000 I thought this very bad that the operation had not been done properly on the first go. I then started to notice that they ‘moved’ differently and had suspions that one was under and one over. Surely not, I thought, why would he do that. I went to see another surgeon to see what he thought was wrong and he confirmed my fears, one bag under, and one bag over!! Absolutly horrified I was. To go through the op, money etc and no find that it’s a complete balls up with obviously another op to go through.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have the first idea at what I should do? I definatly want my money back (hospital fee as well) and was wondering if there’s a possibility of sueing him, not only for the fact that he’s really bodged up my body, but also for the phsycological damage it’s done to me. I do promotional work and a bit of underwear modelling, so it’s really affected my work confidence and even to a degree some of the work I do. (even with a top on the difference can be obvious) I don’t even like being topless in front of my boyfriend, but he’s a sweetheart and say’s it doesn’t bother him, which I’m sure it doesn’t, but still… I should be proud of my boobies, not trying to hide them!!

Any light on this would be very much welcomed xx

p.s. Just to add that at this point I’ve not contacted him re this as i want to know what to do first :)

6k for a BA they must have been BIG implants or you must have had an uplift as well surely??? My op’s costing nearly 6k and I am having a full uplift and implants :-s

Thank you for your kind words. The reason they cost so much is I was told that there was some ‘encapsulation’ and the operation would be a bit more difficult. The surgeon kindly informed me after that here was no encapsulation, but I did I get any money back, did I hell!!

If anyone knows of a good solicitor, I even believe (as I’ve already had a quick look around) that I might be able to do one of these no-win-no-fee cases, that’s even better :)

    Hey there!

Keep us updated with what happens. Have you flagged this with MYA and not the surgeon?

this post has got me thinking now…… My implants both look different and i did go back but was told that they look ‘ok’ after my op i asked if i had got unders or overs and no one seemed to know???? there where no notes as to wear they where put but they thought they where partials. I still have two totally different slopping boobs (if that makes sense) and differnet sizes, my nipples are also in different places even though i had a nipple lift, my husband also says that you cant tell but i sure as hell can.

I do like my boobs but sometimes wonder if it was all worth it!

I originally went with Mybreast and MYA for consultations but decided on MYA because I got a PC that i could see (Mybreast was over the phone) was the the right decision? I will never know!

I hope you get it all sorted! Best of luck!

Go for it hun, it’s been shit and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone…but every cloud and all that! In a couple of years if all is well and you handle it properly, it will be merely a story to tell and you will poss be a few grand richer. So even though it’s crap, it can be sorted and you MAY end up better off. xxx

@jojo. The main reason you know they are under or over is the way the’move’ If you were to flex your muscle as if to do a bicep pose, the one under the muscle will move a lot towards the under arm, whereas the one over will hardly move at all. Perhaps worth getting it checked??

Mine also look 2 different sizes, perhaps if I’m feeling braver and once I have something on the way to being rectified I may put a pic up so you can see for yourselfs just how crap my boobies are!! Here’s to the best knocker’s that money will buy after this. Got to think positive :) Lynda
