Surgery date 22nd June @ Rochdale

Ok so as the Title states, my surgery date is looming, I’m having 525 overs. I have my pre-op on the 15th and I’m just wondering if there’s any last minute things I should be asking or buying?

Good luck hun! I went to rochdale and I found everything went well, ran smoothly and the staff were so nice. Just make sure you have anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and things to keep you occupied for I’d you’re not first on the list xx

Yeah. I will do. Will try get my “story” up after my surgery as I’m staying overnight and will no doubt be bored as hubby is leaving me early-ish.

Did you see sticky thread at the top of forum? They want us to take our debit cards so they can swipe just in case we order extra meals etc x

If my admission time isn’t till say 9amish do you think its ok if i get ther at 7 and just go the cafeteria? Because i’ll be getting a lift and wont be able to after 7am I’m going to order a nice big pillow to take in with me and lots of mags and ofc my boyfriend haha. xx

Im sure you’ll be fine doing that, if not the reception area is fairly comfy enough for you to chill out for a bit xx

Ok, thanks I was also wondering if i should stop my pill? I’ve been reading and i think its just a preference thing or do i have to?

I’m sure that would be fine. Speak to your PC and see if you can request first admission which is 7.30 I think. Then you won’t have to wait around for long Are you a daycase? x

I would stop taking it hun, it’s to prevent DVT and it’s a higher risk if you’re taking the pill. Think you’ve got to stop a week before op x

i had my pre-op on wed and my op is same day – 22 june. The nurse should go through everything with you, she advised me to stop taking any vitamins etc due to thinning the blood, so i would def check about the pill.

Im having 410s.

I’m new to all this. Had my pre op on Saturday. Went through everything with me. Got my ba on 23rd June with mr traynor day case. Been looking on here scared that it wnt be mr traynor as he is doing it on the 22nd. Still wondering wot size to choose. Been googling everything. I need to choose between 300cc left 340cc right or 340cc and 380cc. Any advise xxx

Go for the bigger size! Too many ladies have regretted not going bigger (but still love their new boobs of course)

I choose the biggest size offered, then asked for bigger x
