I had my surgery yesterday at Doncaster..
In so much pain today, can’t even lift my arms to drink, can embody give me reassurance that it will get better ?
Everybody at the clinic was so lovely, dr kazzazi is lovely,
My only moan is that I woke up as i was having my last boob stitched up… that wasn’t pleasant at all!!
??? xx
Ouch! I have never heard of anyone on this forum waking up before the op was completed. You must have been so shocked.
I promise it gets better! I think the first 4 days are the worst and they seem to drag and you feel like you’ve been incapable for about 2 weeks at that point but by day 5 for me I noticed a big change and was able to start doing little things. The best thing for the drinks are straws Hun xx
@ellie2015 I know!! I searched the whole forum to see if it had happened to anybody else but nothing came up, I was so scared, it was painful, the only bonus was that I got to have a look down at my new boobs before they got bandaged up.
Oohh that’s good news!! Fingers crossed.
A straw yes, that’s a great idea, im putting a straw in my coffee as we speak, thank you! Xxxx
Oh no wel I guess that’s one bonus! Was you happy with what you saw?:) did they say anything about you waking up? Also little cartons of apple juice and stuff was easier for me. My arms couldn’t even hold a full cup of drink coz it was too heavy. I’m day 8post op and nearly back to normal now so just think this time next week your be able to do most things.
I have a little girl who uses the buggy still but I’m not sure how long it’s going to take me before I can use the buggy again because of lifting up n down kerbs n that so I have to make her walk everywhere for now I feel so bad xx
Yes I loved them, are you happy with yours??
Ahh this gives me loads of reassurance, light at the end of the tunnel.
Well when I go to see the nurse I’m going to tell her about it, because it ruined the experience for me, it was horid! I’ll see what she says about it.
Yes I know exactly how you feel, I feel guilty because I can’t cuddle her or colour or anything, makes you feel really guilty doesn’t it!
It will be worth it when there mummies are happier! Xxx @ellie2015
@kirstiematthews Don’t let me experience scare you though because it seems it’s extremely rare! I had concious sedation, what are you having?
Yes it was absolutely fine, I was nervous to go in but then women who greets you is so nice, everyone will make sure your ok, then they’ll give you toast and offer you tea and coffee after.
I had a lovely room with a tv and wifi that my boyfriend could stay in when I went under!
You’ll have a fab time xx
@kirstiematthews my admission time was 12, got there at quart to 12, went straight in my room, I was going down for surgery at 1:10.. after all the nurses and people had been to see if I was ok, then I came back in my room about 2:40 , and went home at 4! It was so quick, I was so sleepy in my room, I couldn’t stay awake long enough for the nurse to explain the pain killers to me.
I was a 32/34A before, had 300cc HP, there absolutely huge at the moment!!! And I though dr Kazazzi did bandaging all the way round, but it’s just sticky tape across the front of my chest, it’s alright! Xxxx
The nurse told me they look like cones with your nipples sticking out 🙂 did you have unders? I’m having 300cc hp unders. What bras did you buy? I was told to get matalan or primark ones because there the one he recommends lol I’ve got the matalan ones. Sorry for all the questions hun @lacey xxx
@kirstiematthews it’s fine ask what ever you need!!
Yes they do look like cones, I’ll try and upload a picture for you.
Yes I had unders, I think that’s why there more sore!
I had 2 zip up sports bras, and in matalan, they have a bra called ‘post op surgery bra’ there so pretty it’s all Lacey! I got one of those to, but I haven’t been wearing them because this tape is tight enough! Xx
Yes go online and order it into store if not! It’s free to do it.
Yes I like them, I defiantly wouldn’t want them any bigger.
I think you’ll be super please!!
I took a few things but all I used was a hoody to put on top of the bandages after, didn’t use a single other thing, I wouldn’t overpack! But I would say deffo get a V pillow! They’ve got one in aldi for £3.99 xxx @kirstiematthews
If It’s the bra you tried to show me @kirstiematthews this is the one…
Your welcome, just message me if you wanna ask anything else xxx
Deffo light at the end 🙂 I thought I was never going to be able for weeks but one morning you just wake up n you can do things lol. I know, my partner had to take a week off work but she’s so used to the way I do things lol. Deffo talk to the nurse I would. I was the opposit, I took ages from going down to waking up. Dunno what happened there! Xx
Ahahahahhahaha lacey, your body was ready for the change, hence your eyes popped opened…congrats on your new boobies x
Hi, didn’t the nurses etc in the operating room notice you had woken up? Surely they would put you back to sleep? This is second message I’ve read about someone waking up and it’s so so scary and putting me off ?? hope your healing ok xxx
They did notice, I was like hello I can see this? And they just smiled and said its ok its nearly done, they didn’t expect me to wake up as quick as I did. please don’t be put it off, it’s sooooo rare, out of the thousands and thousands of girls on me I’ve only seen me and one other girl say this, you’ll be absolutely fine! I’ve forgotten all about it now, I was ok I could see my boobies when I opened my eyes anyway, you won’t feel any pain during your surgery !! ❤️ Xx
