Swap to normal bra

When did people swap from a surgery to normal bra and were you told to avoid any push up/padded bras to start with or can you go with any?

I think I was told I could go and get measured and swap to a normal bra at 6 weeks… not exactly sure tho, I am 4 weeks post op and have a phone checkup at 6 weeks, I’m gonna double check with the nurse then.

I got told 6 weeks but no underwire til 6months

Hiya, I had my appointment yesterday with my nurses as I’m 1week post op today, she told me you have to keep your macom bra on for 6weeks due to healing.x

6 weeks in a post surgery bra and then i can wear a normal bra but no underwire for another 5 months
