Has anyone found that if they start to do more physically that swelling increase ? Am 14 days post op and feel well but this week I’ve increased my activity ie a few household chores, iron etc and I have swelling once again and now a increase in fluid, been to see nurse and she thinks all is ok, told to rest for weekend then seeing mr Singh on Monday for him to make a decision on if he needs to drain the fluid :(

Hi staceyr. Just on my way back from seeing mr Singh and he wasn’t concerned at all, said all looks fine, just part of the heeling process, however one thing did come to light which was that my Macom bra isn’t helping me at all as it’s not providing enough support in the right places or enough compression too, luckily I had my debenhams gorgeous bra in my bag which he said was much better. It’s funny cause I slept in my gorgeous bra last night and I did think this morning that the swelling was better and less fluid, so not sure if this was contributing to the problem. He has given ke antibiotics for precaution too. What size did you have in cc’s, as he said the bigger the cc, the more fluid, especially if your quiet petite, I am 6/8 with 600 cc which he said is 1.2 kg !
