    Hi Jacqui
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. I must say I wish I had come on sooner. What a support you all are. It is great to know timings, I know we are all different but I like to have some idea how I am going to feel. I am off work until the New Year, so I have plenty of time. I look a bit like a robot at the moment, my husband is being a dream, even the kids are helping. My daughter is 14 and she thinks they look great albeit swollen.
Anyway thank you so much for your support. I am feeling much better..

Jane I really think the best thing you can do is get up and get moving a bit. I’m 8 days post op and I always feel really stiff and sore in a mroning but once I’m up and about it soon eases and wears off. It takes your mind off it too. I went back to work 3 days post op!! (Because I didn’t tell anyone about my surgery so had to act normal) and I have been fine. It took a bit of gettin up and actually doin it but I’m doin great now. Don’t even feel like I’ve had anythin done!xx

    Hi guys
I didn’t have any badaging. Just 2 little plasters where the incisions are. Dont worry your wounds wont open. I may be taped underneath. My boobs feel very heavy. Mr Adamo didn’t tell me not to use a sports bra. I must say that he seems very laid back. I have been wearing bra but taking off whilst lying relaxing just to give them a chance to breath. Then they feel heavy and I put back on. He seemed to tell me I would be back running in 3- 4 weeks. I think you have to listen to your body, as the moment I can just about manage walking up and down to the kitchen. It looks like bruising coming out. So will probably get worse before better. Dont get me wrong, its isnt painful just really really uncomfortable.
    Will keep you posted!

Hi Carly Tam – Mr Adamo did my op, and he only puts 2 square tapes over your scars, but it is fine and means that you can see the size of your boobs straight away! Don’t worry, the incision won’t open. He does advise that you don’t have to wear a sports bras unless you feel more comfortable with one on. To be honest, i did wear one most of the time as my boobs felt heavy, but i also took it off when i felt like it too :) xx

just seen your message, I had over and am still feeling really tender infact as the day has worn on I am getting lots of aching underneath, where I was cut, both my boobs are feeling numb, the right is feeling especially tender. I just wish the swelling would go down. All I want to do is sleep at the moment. Every time I go to bend forward I get this awful shooting pain in my right boob. I am seeing the nurse on Wed. Will be glad to get plasters off and have a look. Just to put mind at rest. I must say it is really great having you guys at my fingertips!!!!

You’re very welcome Jane. This site is so good for getting support from girls in all stages of their BA journeys.
I found it so usefull before and immediately after my ba, so it’s nice to be able to return the favour.
My daughter is 20, with a natural 36D bust, not sure where they came from – but they weren’t from me !!!
Take care, and don’t be worry to ask any questions. There will always be somebody on here that can answer.

    Hi guys
You all sound like your doing fine. I wonder if you could give me some feedback. I had my BA last Wed with Mr Adamo, although surgery went ok. I seem to have quite alot of fluid retention. My boobs are really hard and stretched.
To be honest I am really feeling a bit sorry for myself. Im also having quite a bit of discomfort in one boob shooting pains.
Can anyone give me some positive feedback. Is it just me that is feeling bad.

    Hi jane

Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling to good. I also had mine done on wednesday, i had 340cc too,I had unders, did you have overs or unders? Mine are still very tight and hard, my left one seems to have dropped a little. I could feel tiny bubbles under my skin between my boobes, seems a bit better today. But yesterday i had a lot of sqelching noices coming from my right boob when i moved my arm, that was very strange, thank god that seems to have stopped today. Like you i will be soooo glad when some of this swelling goes down. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Jane, sorry to hear that you are not feeling too good at the moment, but honestly it does get better!
Mr Adamo did my op 4 months ago now, i had 380s and they did feel tight and heavy for the first couple of weeks. But then they start to drop and soften, and i just love them. I was very bloated for the first 10/14 days, but gradually that starts to go. I was quite pleased that Mr Adamo doesn’t seem to use drains, don’t sound too nice!
Once you get passed 2 weeks, you will be surprised by how quickly your boobs will change. I didn’t tell anybody apart from hubby, my sister and my daughter, that i was getting a ba, and NOBODY has mentioned it. I did use to wear very padded bras before, and it is surpriseing that you can disgise them if you want to.
Big hug for now, and you’ll soon be enjoying your new twins  xx

hi jane im gonna miss the gym too i always go but i can sacrifice it for a few weeks to help me heal properly.mine look really wide and low and when hold in my hands feel really heavy keep thinking from what they were like b4 my god they weigh a bit but im still really swollen.the drains were ok just awkward when going to loo carrying these two bottles around with you.they were full when i had them removed which felt strange not painful.just full of fluid and blood.i look in mirror at them and think their massive but once swelling goes down hopefully be smaller i should end up full c small d but by looking at them prob the d.cant imagine doing my workout routine with them prob take a bit of getting used to .take care tracyx

    Hi there juicylips
No I wasn’t fitted with drains. Although I really don’t like the sound of them I do think that they would have helped…..every time I move I feel really heavy. I keep looking at them and thinking omg I really hope they go down a bit. I am a Personal Trainer and only told a couple of my clients I was having this done. I actually thought that it wouldnt be that noticable WRONG!!!!! My husband thinks they look great, I love them, just don’t know how I will ever be able to run again……. I suppose it is still only 5 days. Mr Adamo seemed to think I would be back in about 4 weeks. I suppose only time will tell. Keep up with the comments, this has really helped knowing your all out there going through the same thing.
    Big hug

Thank you so much for your kind words. Im sitting in bed having taken bra off. Let my boobies get some air. I can really feel the fluid around them. It feels like bubble wrap. I must say that I am feeling a little better, I think I just panicked, my husband keeps telling to be patient, easier said than done. Another question, my boobs do look quite big at the moment, although nice, I would like them to go down a wee bit, did you find yours went down a bit. I was an A cup and wanted to be C Mr Adamo recommended 340? x

    Hia Jane!

Dont worry hun you sound like everyone else after BA ( if you have major concerns speak with your nurse) Your boobs will feel hard and stretched for a while yet, im 10 weeks post op (i think… forogt now) and one of mine is alot softer than the other still. For the first 4-5 weeks they felt really hard and i got the sunburn sensation.

I think everyone gets the feeling sorry for themselves thing too, i was crying loads for no reason… quite funny now i look back.
Shooting pains are usually the nurves in your boobs healing, i was told that you can get these for anything up to a year after having BA.

Hope you start to feel better soon, put your feet up and enjoy x-mas with your new boobies!
