Swelling after rhinoplasty… Cast off tmro..

Just wondering what everyones nose looked like after taking their cast off were you happy straight away?

My nose didn’t bother me from the front but since the op the tip/front is really fat I’m hoping he’s changed it all to suit?? As in I hope he hasn’t made it small with a tashi from bb end!

So how long after the cast was it before you were happy with the results? Xxx

When it was first removed, it was mostly swollen at the tip and bridge…I thought I looked a bit weird at first lol took a few days to get used to it…from the cast removal I was happy, just it was weird seeing I different nose on my face.

If it swells up a little don’t worry – its totally normal and will go down xxxx

When was your op Layla? I really can’t see a difference or if anything it looks bigger, I feel like taking it all of now to have a peek bcos I don’t think I’ll be able to hold it together if it’s not what I asked for

What happens if it’s nothing like what I wanted? Is it tough luck and save up again? I can’t believe I didn’t ask anything like this xx

It will be fine I had exactly the same worries…yes it maybe a little swollen…but that is all..and the swelling will go down…It is really difficult to see under the cast, Its quite misleading…I thought mine looked bigger under the cast, but when the cast was removed it was a lot smaller – just a bit of swelling at the tip and bridge xxx

Yours is really nice! My nostrils look bloody awful with this cast!! Huge!! Do you have any pics of your cast without the dressing over your nostrils? I really do hope it’ll be okay everyone told me not to mess but you can’t help it when your so unhappy about something xx

Good luck hun, my nose was massively swollen after the cast came off it went POOF and swelled up like a trooper but it’s going down by the day now… it’s all good lol… feel free to check out my pics xxx

Oh Em gee don’t say that chelle lol I have to go back to work Thursday! anyone got any hints for helping it to go down quickly? Xxx

Just thought everyone know it went okay! It’s still a little swollen so I know it’ll take some time!! I’ll put some before and after pics on tmro! Nurse was so lovely too at calmin me down and being understanding and for that it was worth every penny!!

I had closed surgery.. Had no pain and no bruising (eyes were a little swollen) but no bruising at all! Even the nurse was amazed lol although I haven’t felt any pain since surgery i can now feel pressure a little on my nose but that could just be because the cast was supporting my nose…
